Dave Deyoe (born 14 December 1960) is the Iowa State Representative from the 49th District. He has served in the Iowa House of Representatives since 2006. Deyoe currently serves on several committees in the Iowa House - the Agriculture, Appropriations, Economic Growth, and the Environmental Protection committees. He also serves as the Chair of the Economic Development Appropriations budget subcommittee. ==Biography== Dave was born on December 14, 1960, in Manhattan, Kansas. His father, Bill, is a research veterinarian, and his mother, Martha, is a homemaker. He has three sisters, Susan, Janet and Debra. He attended school in Ames and Nevada, where he graduated in 1979. From there he went on to attend Iowa State University where he graduated in 1983. Dave married his wife, Deborah, in Nevada in 1985. They have two children; Dana and Alex, who attend school in Nevada. Dave has worked as a farmer in Story county, on the family farm near Nevada. He attends the Nevada United Methodist Church where he has sat on the Budget Committee and the Staff/Parish Relations Committee. He is associated with the local Rotary, Farm Bureau and Pork Producers Organizations. He was awarded the Iowa Master Pork Producer Award in 1993.
